Awesome!

This song sounds great in "Monster's Dream" - really, a great track; pretty original and different.

Mellow and synthy

It is pleasing to the ear - how is that any less art? Good stuff.

VegetarianMeat responds:

I mean, the song doesn't really have emotion, just a catchy beat :P

Pretty cool stuff

I enjoyed this track; all your instruments sound pretty good, and fit well together - the reverb works well in this.

Mattopia responds:

Hey, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Sweet guitar

Wow, this thing is radically different than anything I expected to hear - very interesting, good stuff. I don't care for the drum at 47 seconds, what is that, a tom? Seems like it has sort of a nasty ring to it. Those are some sweet effect you used, thanks for the cool track.

SpartanLB301 responds:

Same thanks to you for the 10/10, and yeah it is a tom.

Well done exercise

You've got something decent started - this doesn't really go far musically at all, though, so it's not really worth anything more than what you learned from it.

Cool

Relaxing music is boring music - this is brimming over with energy, not boring at all, I can really associate it with the sun; I really like the glitchy stuff you do - have you ever heard any of the stuff by Snayk? He's another guy on NG that uses the glitching a lot. Your guitar sounds a little bland in comparison to the other sounds - I can understand that this is because the guitar is recorded while the others are digital; if I were to point out one thing that could use improvement, it would be the sound quality of the recorded guitar ( listening again, it may be mainly the tone of the guitar that I dislike ) - great song.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Heh. Boring relaxing music is boring : P
Listen to my track "Letters from an Iceberg" I think you'll see what i mean. Its a bit relaxing, calm, but still got umph to it..There's always a right and a wrong way to go about it. However, i dont like to stick to genre. The person below me probably expected something relaxing as he seen this was in the ambient genre. ah well.

I havent listened to Snayk. I do chat with Nubbin and i have listened to Glib, two very good glitchy artists i know off. Not many people go down the IDM road. I'm glad you like the energy behind this song. I try to but as much as i could into it. I wanted something very forceful, yet still retaining relaxing elements.

I'm not sure if its the sound quality of the guitar you dont like or just the heavy use of reverb on it? Could be the tone too? Haha, which one!? Soundwise, the guitar is recorded fairly crisp and clear. I mess around with the effects and such. To be honest i've just started teaching myself guitar!

Thank you for reviewing and for the high score.

Pretty cool

Yeah, I liked your solo.

Cool

There's enough feeling oozing out of this shimmeringly electronic song that I can believe that it's possible for a robot to be horny and down. Everything sounds really good - can't understand the talking at all, but who cares, it sounds cool, and it is a robot anyway. Ah, constructive criticism - how about a longer song next time; this is way to cool to end so soon.

Syntrus responds:

Thanks TOM I fucking love you! You are my new favorite internet buddy!

Cool

You take your glitching to a cool new level with this one - I'll be listening to this one now and then for sure.

snayk responds:

Cool, thanks!

Unbelivably cool!

!!! This review is necessarily useless, because I love this track, and I can not think of how it could be better - I'll be checking out the other stuff of yours I haven't heard yet.
